Into The Archive – a Radio Play

Adrian Newton writes: The idea of creating the piece was to celebrate WCT’s achievements, while highlighting the value of the archive of performances now accessible via the new WCT website. While exploring the archive and tracking down favourite scenes and songs nominated by members, I was reminded what a fantastic body of work this is.  I was struck by the wonderful storytelling in many of the pieces, and the excellent use of music, with lots of unforgettable songs. I’ve included some in the radio play, which also combines extracts from previous performances with material produced at the workshops.

The radio play will shortly be available as a broadcast on internet radio and as a podcast.
