Everyone connected with Wimborne Community Theatre is deeply saddened by the recent death of Marion who had been a member since some of the first productions over thirty years ago. Marion brought her wisdom about, and enthusiasm for theatre, as well as creativity to all our projects, as a member of the steering group and on the performing team, always ensuring young members were supported and valued. Marion played many different roles and always brought skilful characterisation and energy to the roles. Most recently we remember her strong performance in the challenging central role of Mary in What They Left Behind, in 2016. She will be greatly missed.
